The Winter Ride

Winter Ride Part 1-

This photograph was depicts a Northern train stationed at Leeds station. The station was opened in 1758, and had a primary use of hauling wooden wagons full of coal from Middleton to Leeds. In the early days, 6 competing companies used the station on different lines for this purpose.

The station became open for commercial use in 1869 linking to London and the North west.
