Starting as side hustle, Photogenix was established in June 2025 as a gallery of landscape photography, by the founder Ben Hoskins. With the help of the Newcastle University Start up program, and countless others, Photogenix has blossomed to become a collection of fine prints, centered around the city of Newcastle upon Tyne.

November 2025 saw the release of the 12 Pubs of Christmas Calendars, highlighting a variety of pubs based in Newcastle. On the horizon sees a new range of products being released in 2026, including more prints, t-shirts, and calendars, all based on Ben Hoskins photography and designs by Alex Wilkinson.
